Thanks to Elana, Random House and Book Nerd Tours for setting this up!

Splendor, the stunning sequel to Sacred, is a story about changing friendships, family, romance, passion, the study of Kabbalah, and self-discovery.Sometimes the answers we seek aren’t ours to find. . . .
Scarlett loves her boyfriend, the dashing, mysterious Will Cohen. But now he’s gone east for college, and Scarlett is stuck home on Catalina Island. Senior year should be a breeze, but between dealing with her parents’ separation and her wild best friend, Lily, things are off to a rocky start. And then there’s Gunner. Dangerous, dark, ferociously attractive Gunner. Lily’s potential boyfriend, Gunner . . .
Scarlett distracts herself by spending time with her horse and delving into ecstatic mysticism, a way to practice Kabbalah. Through this practice, she hopes to learn to control her emotions, and begin to make sense of her place in the world. But Scarlett’s world is increasingly unrecognizable.
Are Lily and Scarlett becoming too different to stay friends? Is Will still the love of Scarlett’s life, even though she has feelings for Gunner? Does being in love mean only being attracted to one person? The more Scarlett questions, the fewer answers there seem to be.

Praise for Splendor:

Project Cain Blog Tour!

* A special “Thank You” to Geoffrey Girard and Simon & Schuster for making this tour possible.

Synopsis
Fifteen-year-old Jeff Jacobson had never heard of Jeffrey Dahmer, the infamous serial killer who brutally murdered seventeen people more than twenty years ago. But Jeff’s life changes forever when the man he’d thought was his father hands him a government file telling him he was constructed in a laboratory only seven years ago, part of a top-secret government cloning experiment called ‘Project CAIN’. There, he was created entirely from Jeffrey Dahmer’s DNA.

There are others like Jeff—those genetically engineered directly from the most notorious murderers of all time: The Son of Sam, The Boston Strangler, Ted Bundy . . . even other Jeffrey Dahmer clones. Some raised, like Jeff, in caring family environments; others within homes that mimicked the horrific early lives of the men they were created from.

When the most dangerous boys are set free by the geneticist who created them, the summer of killing begins. Worse, these same teens now hold a secret weapon even more dangerous than the terrible evil they carry within. Only Jeff can help track the clones down before it’s too late. But will he catch the ‘monsters’ before becoming one himself?

WICKED MISERY Blog Tour!

SYNOPSIS:
It s all quasi-legal fun until somebody gets framed for murder.

Jessica Moore thrives on misery. Literally. Thanks to a goblin s curse, she gets a magical high from humanity s suffering. A shameful talent like that could bury a girl in guilt, so to atone, she uses her dark power to hunt murderers, rapists and other scumbags until one of them frames her for his crimes.

In desperation, Jessica seeks refuge with the one person she trusts to not turn her in a satyr named Lucen. Like every member of his race, Lucen uses his lusty magic to control Boston s human population, and Jessica isn t immune to his power. But the murder victims belonged to a rival race, and when they discover Lucen is harboring Jessica, dodging the cops becomes the least of her problems.

With only five days to find the real killer, Jessica faces a danger far more serious than the brewing magical war. The danger of succumbing to Lucen s molten seduction.

Warning: Contains a heroine with a lust for misery, creepy murders, and creepier goblins, satyrs so hot you'd sell your soul for one, and scaly sewer rats masquerading as dragons. Who said magic was all sparkles and tiaras?

Review I loved this book. Jessica is a main character who is cursed but is finding the best way to deal with that curse. Until she is framed and meets Lucen who has his own powers.

Jessica's on huge run and now has some kind of protection from Lucen. Buy what happens when protecting her is putting him in the crosshairs? Jessica's funny, smart and totally kickass and I just loved this book for having a little but of everything for everyone in it. She has only five days but a lot can happen in 5 days.

I can't wait to see where this goes next!!!!

Antigoddess Blog Tour

Synopsis
The Goddess War begins in Antigoddess, the first installment of the new series by acclaimed author of Anna Dressed in Blood, Kendare Blake.

Old Gods never die…

Or so Athena thought. But then the feathers started sprouting beneath her skin, invading her lungs like a strange cancer, and Hermes showed up with a fever eating away his flesh. So much for living a quiet eternity in perpetual health.

Desperately seeking the cause of their slow, miserable deaths, Athena and Hermes travel the world, gathering allies and discovering enemies both new and old. Their search leads them to Cassandra—an ordinary girl who was once an extraordinary prophetess, protected and loved by a god.

These days, Cassandra doesn’t involve herself in the business of gods—in fact, she doesn’t even know they exist. But she could be the key in a war that is only just beginning.

Because Hera, the queen of the gods, has aligned herself with other of the ancient Olympians, who are killing off rivals in an attempt to prolong their own lives. But these anti-gods have become corrupted in their desperation to survive, horrific caricatures of their former glory. Athena will need every advantage she can get, because immortals don’t just flicker out.

Every one of them dies in their own way. Some choke on feathers. Others become monsters. All of them rage against their last breath.

The Goddess War is about to begin.

Review : love. Love. Love. This book is a mesmerizing take of some of our favorite myths. I love the books about gods as goddesses no two are the same and this is one that comes to life as you read.

Review : I haven't read anything by Heather before and boy I am glad to have started with this one. I was in love right from the beginning.

Cat is a kickass character. She is just amazing, and when she has a hit put on her things get more interesting. Add in Cody who is someone who Brooke her heart. That's where things get tricky their backstory. But as they are searching for clues to unravel the lies surrounding them can they do it again?

This book is full of lies, action, scandal, love, heartache. The perfect mix for anyone. You will not be disappointed in this book! You will fall in love with every character.

Dead Girls Don't Lie Blog Tour

BOOK SYNOPSIS
Rachel died at two a.m . . . Three hours after Skyler kissed me for the first time. Forty-five minutes after she sent me her last text.
Jaycee and Rachel were best friends. But that was before. . .before that terrible night at the old house. Before Rachel shut Jaycee out. Before Jaycee chose Skyler over Rachel. Then Rachel is found dead. The police blame a growing gang problem in their small town, but Jaycee is sure it has to do with that night at the old house. Rachel’s text is the first clue—starting Jaycee on a search that leads to a shocking secret. Rachel’s death was no random crime, and Jaycee must figure out who to trust before she can expose the truth.
In the follow-up to her powerful debut, Jennifer Shaw Wolf keeps readers on their toes in another dark, romantic story of murder and secrets.

Review : This book was love for me! The author draws you into this mystery and you can't stop reading until you find out where it all adds up.

The book pulls out the emotions. Her writing is dark but addicting. You can help but keep on going, Jaycee made some choices. She is thinking alot of what-ifs, but there is no going back. She is going to figure out what happened to her best friend, who to trust and maybe learn some more about herself along the way.

The police are all over the place with what happened. About half way through is when i started to realize who did it. There is still alot left to figure out which the ending about did me in! I couldn't believe it. I just love her style of writing, she pulls out every emotion you can think of, she goes to those dark places and make them come alive!

Kinslayer Blog Tour

Synopsis
A SHATTERED EMPIRE
The mad Shōgun Yoritomo has been assassinated by the Stormdancer Yukiko, and the threat of civil war looms over the Shima Imperium. The Lotus Guild conspires to renew the nation’s broken dynasty and crush the growing rebellion simultaneously – by endorsing a new Shōgun who desires nothing more than to see Yukiko dead.

A DARK LEGACY
Yukiko and the mighty thunder tiger Buruu have been cast in the role of heroes by the Kagé rebellion. But Yukiko herself is blinded by rage over her father’s death, and her ability to hear the thoughts of beasts is swelling beyond her power to control. Along with Buruu, Yukiko’s anchor is Kin, the rebel Guildsman who helped her escape from Yoritomo’s clutches. But Kin has his own secrets, and is haunted by visions of a future he’d rather die than see realized.

A GATHERING STORM
Kagé assassins lurk within the Shōgun’s palace, plotting to end the new dynasty before it begins. A waif from Kigen’s gutters begins a friendship that could undo the entire empire. A new enemy gathers its strength, readying to push the fracturing Shima imperium into a war it cannot hope to survive. And across raging oceans, amongst islands of black glass, Yukiko and Buruu will face foes no katana or talon can defeat.

The ghosts of a blood-stained past.

Top Five List - Your favorite guy characters from your books, including random facts about them.

Kin
Kin is probably the bravest character in the series. He was raised by the Lotus Guild—he had a very sheltered upbringing where dissent and disobedience simply weren’t concepts he was ever exposed to. But once he meets Yukiko, he realizes the fundamental injustices of the world he’s living in, and despite everything he’s been raised to believe, he joins the rebellion against the Guild. Unfortunately, things don’t work out quite the way he wanted them to. He has a rough time in KINSLAYER, which forces him to reassess where he stands and why on earth he’s standing there. Is he part of the rebellion because he believes in the rightness of their cause, or simply because he wants to be with Yuki?
Yoshi
I love writing Yoshi. He’s a new character introduced in KINSLAYER—a street-smart hoodlum, who loves his family and doesn’t give a toss about anyone or anything in the world. He doesn’t see himself as a hero or a rebel. He’s not interested in the big picture or the power struggle for the throne or what’s happening in the war—he just wants to protect his sister and boyfriend, to look out for them in a world getting darker by the day. He has a heart of gold, but he’s grown up so rough and so cold, its hidden inside steel armor a foot thick. He’s ruthless, and calculating, but not quite as smart as he thinks he is. And that ends up costing the people he loves dearly.
Ichizo
Another newcomer in KINSLAYER, Ichizo is the cousin of Hiro, the new would-be Shōgun.Ichizo is a young man, promoted to a position well above his station, simply because he’s related to Hiro. He has a conscience, but he’s also fiercely loyal to his family, and presented with the injustices of the regime and Hiro’s blinding desire for revenge, he’s walking on the razor’s edge. His affections for Michi, the Kagé assassin, might be the final drop that tips him over the edge into outright rebellion against his lord and beloved cousin.
Masaru
Yukiko’s father, who was killed at the end of STORMDANCER. I really liked writing Masaru—a man tortured by the mistakes of his past. A man who loved his daughter and sought the best for her, even if he went about it all the wrong ways. His ghost still haunts the pages of KINSLAYER. Rage at his death is driving Yukiko to the heights of callousness, and her inability to properly grieve his loss is poisoning her soul. Will she be able to finally say goodbye to him, or will his memory stain her forever?
Buruu
Everyone’s favorite, and probably my favorite character to write in the entire series. Watching him grow from a simple beast into this wise-cracking killing machine has been great fun. His ferocity is only matched by his love for Yukiko—he’d do anything to protect her. But at the heart of him, he’s still an animal, still unpredictable. What happens when the human side of Buruugets taken over by the animalistic side? Where does Yukiko stand when she looks inside her best friend and find only the beast? We get to find out in KINSLAYER.

REVIEW : This book had me from the beginning. I was looking to see if I would enjoy the sci-fi genre. And boy did I! I couldn't help but fall in love with the characters.

Tis author brings this book to life as you read. Ava is someone who doesn't know where she fits in, all she knows is she is the Chosen One.
